'The point' is a one-stop-shop, open for all young people, age 13-25, living in and around Blyth Valley.

We offer free and confidential information, advice, support and counselling.

Outside the Point

All of our services are
FREE and there is no need to make an appointment - just pop in to one of our Drop-in sessions.

We offer: info/advice, counselling, washing machine, shower, c-card, sexual health sessions, group work, confidential meeting place and free internet/computer use.

Our Drop-in times are:

Monday 4-6pm (inc. sexual health nurse)
Tuesday 2-6pm
Wednesday 2-6pm
Thursday 2-6pm (inc. Crèche)
Friday 11-3pm (inc. free lunch between 12-1pm)
Saturday 10:30am-1:30pm (inc. sexual health nurse)

Confidentiality

At The Point everything you say to a worker is confidential. This means that no information will be passed onto anyone without your consent, e.g teachers, parents. The only exception to this is if we believe you or someone else is being or is at risk of being harmed. If we did feel we had to break confidentiality then a worker would always aim to let you know first. Please feel free to contact us for any further info regarding this.
